The Cell Phones have taken over everyone's lives and are now the biggest form of communication there is. As such, they can easily hold a lot of our privacy and secrets. Many thieves or even hackers keep a close eye on what you carry in your pocket, with more than 2,000 devices stolen every day, which is almost 900,000 in 2021 according to the Brazilian Public Security Forum. After all, these devices often store more important user data than the wallet itself, such as credit cards and even our personal information.

How to block a cell phone:

There are several ways to do this, and one of them is by using the "Find my device" or "Find my Iphone" feature(In the case of an Iphone), depending on the device, which allows you to block and erase data from your device and also track your phone.Another way to do this is by using your IMEI(International Mobile Equipment Identity)code, which is the identification number that every cell phone has. Once you've found out your IMEI code, you need to file a police report, which can be requested at a police station or in some cases even via the Internet, and then just talk to your operator with the police report in your hands to request that your IMEI code be blocked.

How to find out your IMEI code:

The IMEI code stands for International Mobile Equipment Identity. This code is a unique, global number that is present on allphone handsets. To find out your IMEI code, just type *#06# in a call, then a sequence of 15 numbers made up of four groups of numbers will appear on your screen, something like:001970-01-010000-0, this is your IMEI code.
