Are you your priority?

Are you your priority?

The concept of priority is "what comes first".

So I ask you:

Do you come first in your life?

To understand this better, let's establish what is important to us.

Do you put yourself first?

Do you take care of yourself as a priority?

There are several questions that come to a conclusion at the same time:

How much we value who we are and what we want for ourselves.

When we take the time to look after ourselves, we understand that we have prioritized ourselves. We live in a society where everything is happening too fast, with a hectic life such as work, family, friendships, commitments that anyone has in society, but we forget that it is of the utmost importance to be committed to ourselves, and thus well resolved, we give the best of ourselves to others.  The better you are, the happier you will be and thus the more useful you will be to your society, family, etc.

Don't feel "guilty" about prioritizing yourself, because it's extremely healthy. Many may call you "selfish", but know that if you're not whole and very well resolved, balanced, you'll never be able to contribute anything to society.

How to make it your priority?

  • Take time for yourself, looking after your needs, because you are the most important person in your life.
  • Evaluate, if necessary, what may be causing stressful situations and what weight they have in your life.
  • Recognize your value as a person and appreciate people who are positive and important in your life, because they will help and support you in your personal growth process, but you will also be fundamental in their lives, this is called friendship.

Some situations we can change, but others we can't, so let go of the things that can't be changed, don't stress, move on. Every day in our lives we encounter new challenges that if we are in balance, well resolved, then victory is certain.

Be conscious of your actions, let your happiness be your priority.
