People with an inferiority complex find it very difficult to see their qualities and potential. They always feel uncertain about themselves, lack self-esteem and are generally critical of themselves.

Some signs that may indicate that you have an inferiority complex.

  • Comparison: You always compare yourself to other people, believing that what others do is more valuable than what you do. You don't understand that when you diminish yourself you end up sabotaging yourself;
  • Lack of motivation: Because you feel incapable, you have less motivation to achieve your ideals. They feel incapable of succeeding. They don't understand that motivation is what drives life. In order to be "successful", a person needs to feel motivated and ready to achieve their goals;
  • Low self-esteem: They don't accept themselves the way they are, see only their defects and that they don't have the capacity to achieve their ideals, which can even trigger a process of self-destruction that needs to be treated;
  • Difficulty in relating: It's not a rule, but it's common for people with inferiority complexes to isolate themselves because they believe they can annoy others and they also have great difficulty in making friends;
  • Opinion of others: Feels insecure when he has to socialize in a group and believes that others' opinions will always be negative about him;
  • Anxiety: It's common for those with an inferiority complex to find it difficult to relax. They are always on the alert with regard to the actions of others and also their own actions, because they have a great fear of making mistakes, of being despised and embarrassed, imagining that they could receive criticism, persecution and rejection;

How to treat the inferiority complex?

  • Recognize your value and don't diminish yourself to anyone, especially yourself;
  • Identify your skills and strengths and dedicate yourself to your goals, always believing that you are capable of achieving them;
  • Don't criticize yourself so much, always work on your emotional issues, if necessary seek help from a psychologist or therapist to help you work on the issues that affect you so much emotionally;
  • Live with people who know who you really are and who value you and support you in your ideals.

Always love yourself and believe that you are unique and have great value.
