What is understood about healing?

In the chaotic world in which we live, when we hear about healing, we immediately think of it as the idea of recovering health, whether physical or mental. But healing has a much broader and more important meaning than just improving or restoring what was damaged. The word healing comes from the Latin word for "the act of caring, a care", which is perhaps why we use it for this purpose, of caring for ourselves and sometimes for others.
But I believe in something greater and powerful, which frees us to live in peace, without pressure, without attachments, without violence. The feeling of healing makes us feel such a great love for life that no one could ever imagine. Sometimes we don't value the true meaning of life and when we go through difficult and conflicting situations and manage to overcome and win, we understand the commitment we have to have with our existence here on Earth.
Healing comes from the inside out, it's something that is in all of us, but which we often don't see in the right way. When we talk about healing we mean physical or mental illness, but we forget about the spiritual. Let me make it clear that I don't intend to talk about religions here, I just know that we are matter and spirit and that we must take very good care of both in order to have a full and happy life. When we feel weak and sometimes oppressed, the best thing to do is to stop for a while and look at what is happening to us and understand that we need help. Help that first of all comes from us, that's right, we must help ourselves and the first process is our restoration.
Restoring our values and attitudes is the great start to the healing process. We have authority over our lives, so all action must first begin with ourselves so that we can find healing from all physical, mental and spiritual ailments.
Science and medicine are super important in the process of any healing, but if we are not open and aware of what we believe and who we are, nothing will work. If you are going through times when you need a cure, accept that your self-knowledge is fundamental to the start of any treatment and know that your strength will be your main ally.
Never stop seeking help, be open to receiving support and treatment.
