Empty yourself of pride and excessive vanity

Do you think you're more important, more beautiful, more intelligent than other people? Do you tend to flaunt your qualities and think you're better at everything? Vanity has always existed since the beginning of time, it's just that today in our society it's present in us in an absurdly exaggerated way.

Taking good care of yourself is healthy, but there are limits so that you don't go beyond normality. When we need to appear more than we really are, it can trigger a process of emotional imbalance in us that needs to be taken care of. There are cases of people who don't accept their bodies and constantly seek to change their appearance.

Here are some examples:

-Going on absurd diets

-Going through aesthetic treatments

-Plastic surgery

Always in search of the "perfect beauty", they don't feel happy the way they are, thus signaling a self-esteem problem. When a person only sees that they need to be perfect, the best at everything, putting their health at risk, in search of the physical appearance they think is perfect, bordering on extremism, it's very dangerous and needs to be treated. Everything that is exaggerated is risky.

You know that analogy between medicine and poison? If your appearance is more important to you than your character, your qualities, it's time for you to review your concepts of life and work on this within yourself. Usually those who believe that they need to be perfect, have a perfect appearance, be the most desirable, the most intelligent, may have a history of rejection or abandonment that needs a deeper look and if possible can be treated.

When a person puts themselves on a higher level than the other, valuing their appearance, qualities and abilities excessively, they usually become conceited and arrogant. You always have to have common sense and accept yourself. Taking care of yourself is very healthy, but nothing more than normal and without thinking that you need to be the most beautiful and the best at everything in order to be loved, desired and happy. It is important to review your concepts and attitudes, because the suffering is great when you discover the emptiness that exists within an extremely vain person.
