Self-medication is increasing more and more among the population, and it is well known that it is very bad for the health of those who use medicines without a doctor's prescription. For any type of physical or mental symptom, those who self-medicate use medicines to immediately relieve symptoms such as pain, insomnia, stress, among others.
The use of medication without a doctor's prescription can result in a worsening of an illness, so whenever you need help to resolve any symptoms you feel, seek medical advice and don't take medication on your own because the consequences can be harmful to your health.
We know that there are major studies and research around the world into the discovery of medicines and then the process of legalizing these medicines so that they can be produced. We understand the importance of medical and scientific advances for all of humanity and that they are extremely important in the treatment and cure of many diseases. When can we tell that someone is self-medicating? Are we also self-medicating?
Self-medication begins quite simply: if we have a minor headache, for example, we can imagine that if we take a medicine to relieve it, we'll feel better, the discomfort will disappear and our day will be more productive.
It happens that we can mask the reason why we have a headache and the real reason is not properly diagnosed and treated, not to mention that it can cause another problem for our health, because all medicines have chemical substances that can harm us if we take them without the authorization of a medical professional, who after tests will diagnose the cause of the symptoms that the patient reports and prescribe a prescription for the particular medicine to be used.
If you notice that someone is self-medicating, try to inform them of the risk to their health and that seeking medical help is the best solution, because doctors are present throughout world society to care for people who need treatment. Don't believe advertisements that are not from medical institutions that are duly regulated by the legal and supervisory agents of each nation, because our lives are valuable and must be respected and valued.
If you experience any physical or mental symptoms, seek medical help.
