Traffic education is a priority for all of society and the government, so that citizens become aware of the importance of knowing and understanding traffic rules and laws and how they work so that so many accidents stop happening. The aim of educating society is to preserve life by reducing accidents and also to appease coexistence in traffic by making it safe. When we educate citizens, they become more aware and responsible for their rights and duties, in addition to avoiding accidents, health costs, property damage and compensation are greatly reduced.
But how is traffic education carried out?
There are countries that introduce traffic education in the early years of school, so that pupils become citizens who are aware of their responsibilities from an early age. Traffic education is also taught in traffic schools, such as driving schools, which teach people how to drive various vehicles, such as cars, trucks, motorcycles and others. At the driving school you are taught the traffic rules, you are assisted by an instructor, who will teach you how to drive the vehicle and how to drive it, and then after some time you take a theory test and a practical test to assess whether you are able to receive a license to drive a vehicle.
We know, then, that traffic education brings many benefits to society as a whole and that it is challenging, because the issue has a diversity of agents involved and if we mobilize awareness actions and educational actions, we will certainly succeed so that the world reality can have responsible traffic where everyone respects the rules, the law and the right and space of others. Many actions and awareness campaigns are being carried out all over the world, but do these campaigns succeed in raising everyone's awareness? We are experiencing a time when there is a lot of discussion about attitude, because we know that the problems are big and that we have to do something, so let's act and the first step is to think of the whole and not just of ourselves.
Educating ourselves means seeking knowledge and applying it to our reality. The process begins individually but later becomes collective, because we know that we are human beings who live in a society and coexistence is fundamental and there is nothing better than making this interaction with others a respectful and safe one.
