We can define ideology as a system of ideas, a worldview of a person or groups, which encompasses social, cultural, political, religious and also economic perspectives. Ideology seeks a desire to live and coexist in an ideal society that involves both social and political actions. Ideology guides our actions, thoughts and behavior in society.
It is important to know that the field of ideas is extremely important in social, economic and political debate, but we must respect the space and ideas of others so that there can be a peaceful, positive and constructive relationship in our society. We know that we all have the right to freedom of expression and also of position in our society, and that ideas and values must be discussed and also widely respected.
The historical and social context must always be considered in order to better understand and organize the many nations on our planet. We are living in an era of multiple concepts and values, with many social and cultural differences and ideology has emerged as a way of erasing these differences, i.e. that everyone is equal, but we must always respect positions and values and never impose our ideals on others. Talking about ideology covers many aspects and in order to delve deeper into this subject, it is important to understand all its aspects.
There are those who defend ideology as a salvation for our humanity, and there are others who believe that ideology only serves to cause a false or misleading consciousness in our society, in other words, we see the world as we wanted it to be and not as it really is.
Care must be taken so that ideological positioning doesn't go beyond the limits of public dialog and cause a war of values and social concepts. Living in an ideal society means knowing how to respect the ideals, thoughts and positions of others.
