We know that it's not so easy to face a job interview because it's a new work experience.
We often feel anxious, insecure and this is natural, but we mustn't let fear and anxiety get in the way at this time.
When we see that there is a job that interests us, we must be willing to show that we are a suitable candidate for the position.
Today, there are online interviews as well as face-to-face ones.
If you choose to go online, make sure your internet connection is good, that your computer or cell phone is working properly and that the room is quiet.
Before the interview, try to find out some information about the company you're applying to and the position you're looking for.
How?
There will be a moment when the interviewer will ask the candidate to tell a little about their background, in order to get to know the person applying for the job better.
So, tell us a bit about who you are, where you come from and your professional goals. Don't go on too long with your descriptions, as this could tire the interviewer out.
You may be asked:
That's why I mentioned earlier how important it is to know the company well in order to have answers at the interview.
Try to stay calm, as nerves can get in the way of this process.
Don't feel inferior to other candidates who may have more experience than you, show that you are willing to work, that you want to grow professionally and preferably in the company in question and that you are determined to be part of the group by being a good employee.
If you are a professional with an academic degree, what is most taken into account are your results in previous experience and whether you are willing to contribute your knowledge.
If you don't have an academic degree or are still a student, tell us how focused you are, how determined you are and that you have the potential to get involved and deliver on the job.
A key factor in a job interview is your attire. If possible, before the interview, find out how the company's employees dress and then dress as if you already work there.
Don't be embarrassed if you don't understand a question during the interview, please ask the interviewer to repeat the question so that you can understand it better and answer clearly.
And finally, if you weren't hired for a job at the company, it doesn't mean that you're incapable or a bad professional, but understand that at the time you were best suited to the position.
Always strive to be a good professional by improving your knowledge and you'll certainly get a great job where you'll enjoy performing your duties.
Good luck.
