Access to adequate housing is a fundamental human right for all of humanity, because every citizen has the basic right to have a decent place to live, but this has not been the case for many, many years. The reality of having adequate housing is still a long way off for many citizens all over the planet.When we talk about decent housing, we have to understand that the place must have healthy conditions for habitation, such as good structural conditions with access to water, electricity, basic sanitation and no factors that put people's lives at risk.

But we know that there is inadequate housing all over the world, with problems such as irregular terrain, lack of infrastructure (basic sanitation, energy, transportation and telecommunications), unhealthy places  and no security whatsoever. Decent housing is the beginning for every citizen to develop their abilities and fundamental for them to be able to integrate socially for their survival, because it is the existential minimum.

Housing is one of the most delicate and discussed issues in the world and it becomes complex because it faces obstacles from the economic and political reality of each country. We see people all over the world sleeping on the streets and sidewalks, in totally unhealthy environments, without protection, without food, without health, in short without any dignity and this situation needs to be changed, it is not acceptable for a person to be absurdly exposed to this type of violence and neglect.

There is a notable lack of public policies, generating a worldwide crisis in Human Rights. We know that social inequality is a global problem that unfortunately haunts the entire planet, but if all those in power listened to the cries of their people and worked in favor of humanity, this situation would surely be remedied.

Citizens just want to live in peace and have the right to health, education, work and decent housing.
