Most of the time, complaints and disagreements in any relationship arise from differences, such as aspects of personality and behavior. We live in society, in environments with many people of different ages, opinions and behaviors that in our daily lives we need to interact with, whether at work, in the family, among friends, among others, and we know that these relationships are not always easy.But what can be done to achieve balance and harmony in these relationships where there are many differences? It lies in the ability to see the differences, respect them and know how to discuss them and try to resolve them in the healthiest way possible.

We know we're different and that's normal, but we have to know how to deal with these differences.

• Learn to validate others, considering their thoughts and positions, but know that validating is not agreeing, but considering and respecting.

Knowing how to deal with differences will always be a challenge, but if we start an emotional, social or professional relationship with respect as a principle and are always open to dialogue, this relationship will certainly be successful. Knowing how to observe and be open to the "new" is always positive for any relationship. It is a challenge to learn how to relate to the different, it strengthens and humanizes us and certainly our personal relationships will be healthier and happier.
