Chromotherapy, which is also called color therapy, is ancient, having been in our society since ancient civilizations. The Egyptians, Chinese, Hindus and Greeks already used colors.
Today Chromotherapy is used in the concept of alternative therapy and natural medicine. A technique that uses waves emitted through colors to act on the body's cells and help balance the harmony of the body and mind, thus contributing to a better functioning of the body and causing a feeling of well-being for the patient. Chromotherapy is part of a therapeutic practice that, if accepted by the patient and doctor, can help with treatment, but it does not replace conventional methods.
Basic colors are used, such as:
In another article I will highlight the function of each color in Chromotherapy.
Colors are used to help treat certain symptoms or illnesses, such as fever, insomnia or emotional reasons.
This science uses the energetic action of colors. In Chromotherapy, each color has a specific therapeutic function, acting on some organ of the body, which when carried out exerts a strong wave of energy capable of unblocking the area of the body or mind that was blocked.
Color therapy uses various techniques as a balancing factor.
When we find ourselves in environments with light and relaxed colors, we feel good, with a sense of peace and balance, while when we find ourselves in environments with intense and dark colors, without natural light, we feel heavy, melancholy and sometimes sad. Therefore, this is the energetic power that colors and lights have and that exert a great influence on us.
If you're undergoing conventional or traditional medical treatment to treat and combat any illness, it's important that you continue with this treatment, but if you want to combine Chromotherapy with your treatment, of course in consultation with your doctor, it's very positive. Lots of color, light and positive thinking.
