How to age healthily.

With life expectancy increasing more and more, we want to enjoy our lives to the full and in great health.The number of people over 60 in the world has increased a lot, it is about to be one of the biggest and significant social transformations of the 21st century.With this population increase many studies and services are being carried out to better serve this population that has contributed so much and still contributes to the growth of society.


Changes or reformulations in the scope of services in the labor market, access to adequate health care and social protection.It is estimated that the number of elderly people over 60 is expected to double by 2050.In 2020 the population of elderly people in the world was 1.1 billion people.Europe has the highest percentage of this population, around 25%.People over the age of 60 are increasingly seen as contributors, many older people don't want to stop working, they feel able to help in the development of their society, but there is another part of this population that needs greater care, as they suffer from health problems and need medical, social and financial help.Many countries are facing fiscal and political pressures in the health, welfare and social protection system.


October 1st is celebrated as International Day of Older Persons. This date was created in 1991 by the United Nations (UNO) with the aim of sensitizing society worldwide to issues of ageing, highlighting the care, duty and protection of this population.We know that we are going to grow old at some point in our lives. So we need to think about how to age better and happily.


The ideal is to have a healthy diet, sleep well, play sports, have an active social life, always taking care of our physical and mental health, practicing actions that make our aging peaceful, healthy and happy.
