When is our mental health healthy?

  • When we feel a sense of well-being, we know how to deal well with our emotions and the unpleasant situations that occur in our daily lives.
  • When we know how to recognize our limits and accept ourselves the way we are, we know that we are well resolved with ourselves and with others.
  • When we feel satisfaction in living and contributing to our society.

Having good mental health means that we know how to deal well with our thoughts and feelings, whether positive or negative, because we know how to recognize them and treat them if necessary. We all have feelings that can sometimes be negative, such as fears, disappointments, frustrations. But if our mind knows how to identify them, it becomes much easier to treat them.

We go through situations in our lives that can lead us to despair, failure and giving up, but if our minds are healthy, we will certainly know how to work to overcome adversity. The number of people suffering from some kind of disorder linked to the mind has been increasing worldwide and this growth is very worrying.

Every day, situations of uncertainty and fear are pointed out as the main reasons for this increase in cases. People are more anxious and stressed and these types of behaviors hinder our mental development;

Here are some situations that may indicate mental health that needs help.

  • Excessive worry: the person tends to worry about their day-to-day life in an exaggerated way, letting their thoughts focus solely on this worry, generating a great deal of anxiety.
  • Sleep: the person finds it difficult to sleep because they keep thinking all the time about something they have to do or something they have already done, which can lead to a sleep disorder.
  • Difficulty concentrating: when a person's mind is full of information that the brain needs to manage, thinking slows down, making it difficult to concentrate and reducing productivity.
  • Physical symptoms: when the mind is unhealthy, the body can be affected with headaches and body aches, hair loss and other symptoms that may indicate that the person needs help.

It's important to keep your mental health in order - after all, we all need our minds to live healthy lives.

  • Have a schedule for sleeping, working and eating. Having a good organization of your habits and commitments is super valid for having a healthy mind.
  • Dedicate more time to yourself in order to relieve the tension of your routine, such as going out with friends, practicing physical activities, reading good books.

Take good care of your mental health so that your life is peaceful and satisfying.
