The incorporation of an animal into the family has been on the rise, they are present in many homes and have already become real members of the family. But what are the advantages of having a PET at home? Animals are  good companions, they help us ward off feelings of loneliness, isolation, they are sources of affection and dedication, as well as keeping us active all day.

Animals also have the ability to sense when we're unwell and help us in a healing process. It's very common for animals to be very important in some treatments, such as helping to cure depression, for example. Animals make us happy by the simple gesture of giving us affection and love without asking for anything in return. Their friendly and loving company makes us feel important to them.

There is a great influence of animals in our lives, they transmit a sense of well-being, because they are always around us in a sincere and natural way, we can always count on them, and even without speaking they express love through their gestures. However, we must understand and respect their limits, we have to take care of them, giving them space when necessary.

Another fundamental factor in living with an animal is to take very good care of it, such as always having its vaccinations up to date, taking it to the vet whenever necessary, because they, just like humans, need medical care, and also feeding them properly for the sake of their health. It is very important to understand that when you adopt a PET you must commit to your responsibilities towards it and never abandon it.

There are many institutions that take care of animals, so if you're thinking of getting a PET, look for these institutions and adopt it, take very good care of it and you'll certainly be a much happier person. If you see an animal being attacked or abandoned, report it to the competent authorities.
