Born between 1981 and 1995. Also known as the Millennium Generation or the globalist generation, as they were born into a globalized world. The global economic crisis has required this generation to be more concerned about the job market, since competition has grown so much.

The main characteristics of Generation Y are the willpower they have and how committed and faithful they are to their goals. They are people who have the ability to carry out several tasks at the same time, due to the ease with which they receive simultaneous stimuli and know how to deal with them very well, performing very well.

They were not born in the age of technology, they grew up in the analog era, but have migrated very well to the digital world. They are an idealistic and questioning generation, they love innovation in order to develop both personally and professionally and they love challenges. Knowledge is fundamental for this Generation, which is very much in search of qualifications in the desired areas in order to stand out in the job market and achieve success in their chosen professional career.

They highly value the meaning of things and a good job, but are not afraid if they need to change company or profession. When they feel they are stagnating, they already start thinking about a new job or living somewhere else. They hardly sacrifice their quality of life to work overtime because they don't want to be exhausted. They understand that work should be done willingly because they enjoy it and not seen as an obligation, because personal satisfaction should be part of their professional life.

They like autonomy and don't take kindly to hierarchy. They are certainly very active people, interested in knowledge, faithful to their purpose and with high moral values. They are concerned about the environment and have a great concern for social causes.
