We often think that deleted files are simply erased permanently from the device, but that's not really the case. Often we can accidentally delete important files and recovering them seems like an impossible task, but it's actually quite simple, because to put it more simply: it's stored in a specific part of your computer until it's overwritten by another file. Windows Recycle Bin

When something is deleted from the system, it is automatically sent to the "Recycle Bin" which stores these files, so when you delete a file instead of getting scared you can check the Recycle Bin which has a high chance of this file being saved there, so just click on the "Empty Recycle Bin" option.

Even when a specific file is deleted from the Recycle Bin, it still remains on your hard disk, i.e. saved on your computer. This is because when a file is deleted from the Recycle Bin, its area on the disk is freed up for new data to be written, but as long as this area is not occupied, the file is still saved.
